Welcome to the Farm

Farm Dog Inn was created for one single purpose - to provide all pets and pet parents the services, care, and support they need and deserve. 
We believe in a holistic aspect of care, where the dog's training, environment, and relationship with their owners must be in balance in order for the dog to live a happy life. 
We pride ourselves on giving dogs the best environment to relax, develop, and enjoy, while also maintaining the highest level of safety and cleanliness. During their stay with us, each dog has a personal room they can rest in at any point. Our staff will decorate their rooms with accessories from home - anything from bowls and beds, to happy birthday signs, to your dog’s favorite toys are welcome. If your dog likes to travel light, we provide beds, blankets, and bowls. Toys, treats, and food are available for purchase at check in. Packmates who normally live with each other can share a room upon owner’s request. When not in their room, our hill country views will bring the inner farm dog out in your furry family member! From exploring our dog friendly garden, to playing in wading pools and sprinklers, your dog will enjoy the outdoors in our serene setting.
At Farm Dog Inn, we believe that dog training is teaching communication and building relationships. Every dog that joins us is taught basic behaviors that are expected in our society. Examples of these behaviors are: waiting before going through doors instead of pushing through, waiting patiently and happily in a crate, proper social interactions with people and other dogs, and remaining focused when distractions are present. We also work on basic cues such as Sit, Down, Wait, etc. Other training can be added to your dog’s stay by purchasing board and train packages. Along with board and train, Farm Dog Inn offers private and group training classes. Our group training classes are set for everyone’s success by allowing our clients to choose which classes they attend. Instead of a six-week set course, our classes are ongoing and are open for enrollment. Once a consultation is completed, you will be given the go ahead to sign up for classes at your current training level. 
Farm dogs are more than household pets that sleep on the couch, they are working members of our family. We believe our dogs can, and still want to, achieve that role. From fetching our keys, to alerting us to take medications, our dogs have the ability to not only bring us joy with their smiling faces, but they can also support us in having a stress-free life. The Kind Own Initiative (KOI) Program is our way of providing dog owners the ability to have such a well-trained and attentive dog at an affordable price. Our KOI Program includes admission to our special rehabilitation seminars focused on a healthy mind/body for dog and handler, as well as, admission to special community events like group hikes, camping trips, and dog friendly events.
